AedonTor:
i think i'm gonna have to pull from a story idea i had a few years ago
it wasn't formed much
but i think it gives me a bit more hope
VenerableMonster:
awesome
AedonTor:
until i begin to hate it with an unquenchable hate
VenerableMonster:
haha
no
no hate
just writing
go
AedonTor:
but i'm so good at the hate, not so much the writing
VenerableMonster:
you just gotta grit your teeth and write
you can hate after
AedonTor:
if by gritting my teeth you mean chewing up the pages, than yes
err then yes
VenerableMonster:
no
AedonTor:
yes
VenerableMonster:
no eating your writing
AedonTor:
violence cures all
VenerableMonster
no
bad andrew
don't make me rename the captain >_>
AedonTor:
...
i can live with that
VenerableMonster:
no you can't
haha
AedonTor:
wait.. are you gonna kill me?
VenerableMonster:
ooooooo, that actually works really well for how i've situated the characters
would give me a chance to do interesting stuff with your daughter
AedonTor:
... the captain always die
daughter?!
VenerableMonster:
and it would be a sufficient push for the main char as well
haha yea
Christy the ships cook.
it was a stroke of inspiration i had
AedonTor:
the love pirate?
my daughter is a love pirate?
VenerableMonster:
she is the love interest of a supporting main character pirate
AedonTor:
ah, so not THE love pirate
VenerableMonster:
THE love pirate is a dude
AedonTor:
and how do i feel about this supporting main character?
do i give him extra duties
VenerableMonster:
heh, he's your acting first mate in light of the death of your former. you act as a mentor to both him and the main character who were young runaways that joined your crew a few months back.
i'm not sure i like having made him acting first mate
especially given his character
eh
that's how it is for now
AedonTor:
psh... i treat him like a son and what does he do... puts the moves on my daughter!
VenerableMonster:
haha, he's not really putting on any moves. he's awkwardly inept around females. that and your daughter is rather intimidating
AedonTor:
did you just call my daughter intimidating?!
heh
VenerableMonster:
haha, she's rather strong willed
AedonTor:
did you see my facebook status?
i'm supposed to ask you what my parrot's name is
VenerableMonster:
hmmmm
i haven't had any parrots yet. maybe i'll get you one after the battle
were you rereading steampunk recently?
AedonTor:
... maybe
VenerableMonster:
i just saw your previous status
eesh, i gotta go get ready for class or i'm gonna be late

I'm not sure which is funnier: the conversation, or the fact that you live together and still converse regularly over IM.
